F.A.Q
Find answers to common questions about Shizuka EA
When does Shizuka operate?
Shizuka triggers the trading process at the beginning of each candle on which the EA is operating. For example, if loaded on a 1H chart, it will analyze and potentially trade every hour. Trades are typically initiated at the beginning of a new candle.
How many set files are included, and for which pairs?
Shizuka includes 11 optimized set files for 15min and 1H charts. Supported pairs include USDCAD, EURUSD, XAUUSD, USDJPY. Additional set files are designed to suit various trading styles, and you can backtest them to find your optimal configuration.
What is the minimum balance recommended?
We recommend at least 500 USD per pair. For instance, trading two pairs would require a minimum balance of 1000 USD to ensure optimal performance.
Is a Cent account supported?
Yes, Cent accounts are supported. We recommend at least 100 USD per pair for Cent accounts, depending on the number of pairs you wish to trade.
What happens during news events?
Shizuka does not include a News filter. We recommend pausing the EA a few minutes before High Impact News and resuming trading once the market stabilizes. However, its single-shot trades with Take Profit and Stop Loss limit exposure to news volatility.
How does Shizuka handle Martingale and risk management?
Shizuka uses Martingale to capitalize on market opportunities while employing features to minimize risk. Tools like trade limits, hedge functionality, and time-based trade closures ensure a balanced approach. The hedge feature provides an extra layer of protection when markets move against you.
What EAs complement Shizuka?
Pairing Shizuka with Martingale EAs such as AggressiveFibov2, BigPoppa, or Benderv2 can amplify short-term profits. For a more stable approach, consider non-Martingale options like Benderv4 or HannahEA, which can smooth account volatility and complement Shizuka’s strategy.
